National Agenda 2014: Battle for Congress featuring Teddy Goff, Digital Director of Obama’s 2012 campaign

Teddy Goff managed a 250-person nationwide team responsible for social media, email, web, online advertising, online organizing, design, and video for the Obama 2012 campaign. Under Goff’s leadership, the campaign raised more than $690 million over the Internet and registered more than a million voters online. TIME described his work as “redefining the limits of viral politics.” He is a graduate of Yale University.

Delaware Debates 2014: U.S. Senate

Candidates for the state’s congressional delegation squared off in the Delaware Debates 2014, a joint initiative of the University of Delaware’s Center for Political Communication and Delaware Public Media, on Wednesday evening, Oct. 15, in Mitchell Hall on the UD campus in Newark. The debates featuring candidates for the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives were held back-to-back.

National Agenda 2014: Battle for Congress featuring Mike McCurry

Mike McCurry would like to see politicians and voters alike embrace a “golden rule” of civility to restore the spirit of cooperation currently missing from the American political scene. McCurry, a former White House spokesman and press secretary to President Bill Clinton, discussed the way Americans feel about their country and its elected leaders during a University of Delaware National Agenda speaker series talk given on November 12, 2014, in Mitchell Hall.
